FOR WORLD SPACE WEEK!

October 4-10, 2024

Space Teams Academy and One Giant Leap Australia Foundation are proud to announce the ‘Global Space Challenge.’  This six-day virtual space mission will provide student teams with lessons focused on the technical knowledge and theoretical understanding that is required to design and conduct a successful space mission.

Working as a team, you will learn the engineering design process, apply new skills, and run simulations to design a mission to another planet in our solar system. Daily mission training will include live events with space mission experts (astronauts, engineers and scientists). Lessons, tutorials and a built-in AI system will guide you on how to succeed in each of the design/simulation activities.

Space Teams is a 6-day program (4 hours/day) and is open to Explorers ages 12 and up. The ideal team size is 2-4 students, although more could be on the same team. Explorers can register and select their own teams or teachers can assign teams as desired.

Registration for schools, classes, clubs, other organizations and individuals is opening soon and continues until October 1st, 2024.
